A register is only worth reading if you can check it

XR Docket exists because buying extended reality development is hard to research. Directories rank on advertising spend, and vendor sites publish claims nobody verifies. This register does neither.

Every record is a file in a public repository. Each one carries a permanent docket number, the date it was last verified and a list of the sources behind every field. Where a fact cannot be traced to published work, the field stays empty rather than being filled with a guess.

Scores are computed from that evidence and stored per company per scope, so a ranking that cannot be reproduced from the record data is treated as a bug. Every weight behind a score is published.

What people ask before they trust a ranking

Does a company pay to appear in the register?
No. XR Docket is a free resource and no vendor pays for placement. There is no sponsored tier, no promoted position and no paid removal.
How is the ranking calculated?
Every score comes from public evidence, weighted across verified case studies in scope, specialization depth, platform partnerships and certifications, named enterprise clients, awards from named bodies and years operating. Rankings are always scoped to a service, a location, an industry or a use case, so there is no global list.
What does a company need before it can be listed?
At least one public case study. Every claim in a record traces to a source URL, so a company with no published work cannot be verified and is not eligible.
How do I get my company listed?
Submit it through the contact form with a link to public work. Each submission is reviewed editorially against the same evidence rules as every other record.
How often are records checked?
Each record carries the date it was last verified. Records that pass twelve months without a check are flagged for re review.
Can a listing be corrected or removed?
Yes. Send the correction through the contact form with a source for the change. Corrections that trace to public evidence are applied.
